John Kopra, CPA
President/CEO

John received his MBA from State University of New York. He has over 30 years of experience in investment management, qualified retirement plan consulting, recordkeeping, and government reporting services. As a CPA, he practiced and held management roles with national and regional CPA firms before founding TRPC. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, and is former President of the Middle Tennessee Employee Benefits Council

Patricia Bowker, CPA
Chief Financial Officer 

Patricia has over 20 years of professional experience in the employee benefits industry. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs as well as the Tennessee Society of CPAs.

Patrick Hale, JD, MBA
Director of Client Services

Patrick received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Ouachita Baptist University and earned a Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas. He has over 18 years experience within the retirement plan industry. Prior to joining TRPC, Patrick held leadership positions with several third party administration and investment advisory firms. Patrick is licensed to practice law within the state of Arkansas and attained the designation of Qualified Plan Administrator (QPA) from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Rick Pummill, CLU, QPA, QKA
Manager of Consulting and Compliance

Rick has worked over 30 years in the development, management and administration of qualified retirement plans. He has assisted thousands of business owners and their advisors in identifying opportunities to help management achieve their objectives. Rick earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College and his Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designations from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). Rick is an active member of ASPPA and the Dayton, Ohio Employee Benefits Group. He also serves on the boards of several local non-profit organizations.

Scott Cloud, MBA, CPC
National Sales Director

Scott has 15 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, with expertise in plan design, documents, administration/consulting, and employee education/enrollment. In his role as National Sales Director he oversees the development and execution of strategies aimed at helping TRPC’s investment advisor partners to acquire, manage, and scale retirement plan advisory business. Scott received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University (OH), and earned an MBA from The Ohio State University. He is an active member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and has earned his Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designation.

Jeff Poling
Director of Wealth Advisory Services

Jeff is TRPC’s Director of Wealth Advisory Services and is located in TRPC’s Brentwood, TN office. He began his career in 2008 as a trust associate with First Freedom Trust, where he gained experience in client services, operations, administration, and consulting. He later joined ProEquities Inc. where he became a fully licensed Investment Advisor. Jeff is a graduate of Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Marketing. He holds FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses, and Life & Health and Property and Casualty insurance licenses.

Jim Branday
Vice President of Sales – Southeast Region

Jim is TRPC’s Vice President of Sales – Southeast Region and is located in Atlanta, GA He has been in the retirement services industry for over 25 years. Prior to joining TRPC, he worked for OneAmerica as their Regional Sales Director for the southeast region. Jim spent the majority of his career with Prudential Retirement. During that time, he managed the northeast retirement sales territory and later managed the southeast retirement sales territory for Prudential. His career as a retirement professional has been spent working with DC, DB, and NQ plan sponsors along the east coast, and he has worked extensively in the Tax Exempt Market working with 403(b), 457, and Taft Hartley plans. Jim holds his Series 63, 7, and FL Life Health and Variable Annuity licenses.

David Leathers
Vice President of Sales – Northwest Region

David is TRPC’s Vice President of Sales – Northwest Region and is located in Portland, OR. He is a 12+ year career veteran from John Hancock Retirement Plan Services where he served as Co-Chairman of their ACTion Committee (a national level resource for finding innovative solutions within participant and retention services). As a Relationship Manager in the Portland market, his account retention rates were among the best at John Hancock. In addition, he has been repeatedly recognized by John Hancock at the regional and national levels for his 401(k)-related topical presentations. A graduate of California State University, Fresno, David holds the Series 6 and 63 certifications as well as insurance licenses for WA, OR, ID, MT, and AK.

Barbara Morris
Retirement Plan Consultant

Barb is the Retirement Plan Consultant for TRPC’s office in Greenville, SC. She has over 18 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, with expertise in Implementation, Administration, and Relationship Management. Prior to Joining TRPC, Barbara held positions with large Investment and retirement plan consulting firms. Her role with TRPC is to maximize TRPC’s client and advisor experience by strengthening relationships and providing personalized and engaged service. Barbara received her Bachelor of Communications degree from Westfield State College in Westfield, MA. She is an active member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

Amit Kakar
Managing Director, India

Amit’s core responsibilities include overseeing the Indian business and executive functions at TRPC. He is responsible for managing the company’s investment in people, through recruiting and training new team members for our India offices. Amit has a Master of Business Administration from IIPM India and has over nine years of experience in the retirement plan industry. Prior to his association with TRPC, Amit worked with other leading Retirement Administration companies, where he had global responsibility for operations, client services, performance attribution, business continuity and planning and training.

Manisha Kakar
Senior Director, India

Manisha leads operations, transitions and process improvements for clients at TRPC Service Team and holds notable insight into the varied activities of retirement plan administration. Manisha has a Master of Business Administration from the Institute of Marketing and Management, Delhi, India, and has over nine years of experience in managing operations. She has been responsible for new projects, planning process reengineering, and maintaining deliverables.

Arun Mittal
Senior Director, India

Arun is responsible for developing and executing strategies that promote productivity and efficiency, and that enhance technical talent for TRPC’s offshore unit. A Science graduate from Delhi University with a Master of Business Administration from ICFAI University, India, Arun has over 10 years of experience in the retirement plan industry. He possesses key expertise in retirement plan administration, and is an asset to the organization in the areas of project management and new business conversions.
